Flying Fun Day - Part 2 - 2026

Please come along to Epsom Downs Model Aircraft Club (EDMAC) on Sunday 20th September 2026 for our fun flying day. Build a simple glider or progress to an instructed flight on one of our club trainer aircraft.

• STEM activity - build a simple chuck glider model to understand aerodynamics.
• Flight Instruction - learn the controls before trying the real thing.
• Chat with our members and see models in action.
• Have a trial flight with an experienced instructor using dual controls*

*Minimum age 10 years old. Flights are allocated on a timetable 12pm - 5pm and first come first served.  All instructors are volunteers so please be courteous. We reserve the right to deny or cut short a flight at any time should we feel it is necessary for safety or in the interest of the club. Club members will be flying as normal and Club/Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) rules will always apply.
