Introduction
Epsom Downs Model Aircraft Club is a friendly, safety-focused flying club for radio-controlled model aviation enthusiasts. We provide a well-managed flying field, clear operating guidelines, and a supportive community where pilots of all experience levels can enjoy the hobby. New to RC flying? Our experienced members offer practical flight training and mentorship to help you build skills and fly safely. The club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA.)
About Epsom Downs Model Aircraft Club
We fly 7 days a week, except for horse race days, from 12pm to 8pm or sunset.  Free-flight and non-powered radio-control models may continue flying until sunset when this is later than 8pm.  Models over 7kg and those powered by jet, rocket or gas turbines may not be flown on the Downs.  Control line models, catapult-launched models and drones are not permitted. These restrictions form part of the Byelaws, which along with the Club Rules and Constitution can be found under Our Responsibilities page.  Other restrictions also apply - this is just a brief summary of the main ones.

Step 3 - Book Your Training

This is currently be developed and will be up and running in the near future. Simply reserve a training session with an instructor and choose a time that suits you. Our structured lessons help you progress safely and confidently.
